For decades, Dupont Circle was one of the centers of D.C.’s LGBTQ community. This always-evolving entertainment hub is one of the few remaining gay bars in what used to be the epicenter of Portland’s gay-friendly nightlife scene. Founded in 1992 on the border of Palm Springs and Cathedral City as WOLFs, this wildly popular leather & gear bar was later renamed BARRACKS.
